Math Teacher: Middle and High SchoolThe candidate must hold certification in both Middle and High School Mathematics. The selected candidate will teach one or more mathematics subjects to students in a public secondary school serving grades 612 and will be responsible for the following: Key Responsibilities: Instruct students using a variety of teaching methods, including lecture, demonstration, and the integration of audiovisual aids and other instructional materials to enhance learning.Develop course objectives and outlines in accordance with curriculum guidelines and state and school requirements.Assign lessons, review and provide feedback on homework, and assess student understanding through a variety of methods.Administer tests and other assessments to evaluate student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate results to parents/guardians.Maintain accurate attendance records and uphold classroom discipline in accordance with school policies.Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and educational conferences.Potentially sponsor or advise student activities or organizations, assist students with course selection, and provide academic or social-emotional counseling as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned
