Mathnasium of Langford, a math-only learning centre, is now hiring full-time/part-time math instructors for 2-5 shifts per week. At Mathnasium, we specialize in just one thing, teaching math in a way that makes sense to kids. The learning centre is a fun and supportive environment, encouraging kids at all skill levels. As part of the Mathnasium team, you can expect to earn a steady income working in a fun, collaborative environment at our learning centre in Langford(no travel is required to student’s house).
We offer flexible working working hours: Monday - Thursday 3:30-7:30 pm and Sunday 1:00-5:00 pm. Expect 8 to 20 hours per week. All candidates must successfully pass a math literacy test.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Required Qualifications:

• Exceptional math skills through Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus
• Ability to teach math to students in grades from K-10
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
• Energetic and confident personality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students
• Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses
