Continuous training and coaching on effective teaching methods Retirement plans with employer contribution All necessary curriculum and tools you will need to instruct Discounted math tutoring services for family members Responsibilities Include: Facilitating a safe, fun educational environment Teaching students in a 4:1 ratio Applying Mathnasium's teaching methods and curriculum to instruct students in grades K-12 Assisting with math homework and test preparation Professionally and positively interacting with students to help them have a productive session This Position is Ideal for: College students in STEM-related fields High school students with advanced math education Teachers looking for additional opportunities Retired teachers and STEM professionals Anyone with a passion for changing lives through math education! Requirements Experience with children ages 5-17 is preferred but not required Math proficiency as determined by a skills evaluation on topics ranging up to Algebra I and Geometry Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a week, distributed across 3 days Weekday availability starting at 3pm preferred but not required
Responsibilities
Instruct K-12 students using the Mathnasium Method in a 4:1 ratio to build solid math foundations. Facilitate a safe, fun educational environment while assisting with homework and test preparation.
