EDUCATION:

Bachelor of Mathematics
Masters Degree in related area preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels is preferred but not required.

  • Develops and administers math curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives.
  • Develops lesson plans and instructional materials to provide customized, small and large group instruction.
  • Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
  • Build relationships with students to help encourage success, increase self-esteem and cultivate a sense of belonging in school and community.
  • Course load assigned by Department Head and could include Pre- Algebra, Algebra I & Introduction to Advanced Math among others
