JOB SUMMARY

We are in search for Mathematics Tutors who are passionate about education and wanting ot make a difference in students’ lives. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, is in training or currently working in the education sector and is well versed in Middle Years and Secondary Mathematics curriculum for North American students.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous tutoring experience is preferred, especially in subjects like Mathematics and Science
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
• Preference will be given to candidates who speak English as their first language
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
• A background in classroom education or related fields will be beneficial.
• Familiar with web-based platforms to deliver lessons.

• Develop individualized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and academic goals.
• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in subjects such as Math, Computer Science, and Special Education.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Create a supportive and engaging atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Utilize technology and computerized resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
