Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Mathematics Tutor for grades 1-9 to inspire students and help them unlock their full potential in math. In this role, you will provide tutoring sessions that foster confidence, improve understanding, and develop problem-solving skills. Your enthusiasm for teaching and strong math background will motivate learners of diverse ages and skill levels to excel academically and build a solid foundation for future success.

Duties

Deliver engaging small group tutoring sessions focused on various math topics
Assess students’ current understanding and tailor lessons to meet their individual needs and learning styles
Use effective teaching methods to clarify complex concepts and make math accessible and enjoyable
Support students with special education needs by adapting lessons to accommodate different learning requirements

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children or students in an educational setting
Strong knowledge of math subjects at various levels, including advanced topics if applicable
Prior tutoring or teaching experience demonstrating the ability to motivate learners and explain concepts clearly
Classroom experience or familiarity with educational environments is a plus

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
