We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating students and helping them achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with children, including those with special educational needs, to provide tailored support that enhances their learning experience.

SKILLS

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents.
• Ability to educate and inspire students, fostering a love for learning.
• Experience working with children who have special educational needs is highly desirable.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students through challenges.
• Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans and student progress effectively.

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects as required.
• Assess students’ learning needs and develop customised lesson plans to address those needs.
• Communicate effectively with students to foster a positive learning environment.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and encouragement.
• Collaborate with parents and educators to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit different learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
