Able Tutors is a leading tutoring agency based in London. At the moment we are looking for experienced tutors to teach GCSE/KS3/KS2 Maths/English/Science, in-person.
We have multiple roles in Barnet, Enfield, Harrow, Chingford, Islington or Watford
This is a face-to-face position and will involve you teaching on a 1-2-1 basis.

REQUIREMENTS

• at least ONE year of recent experience teaching Maths/English/Science (in this country)
• based in the UK
• able to travel to Barnet, Enfield, Harrow or Watford
• have a relevant degree
• enhanced DBS clearance or be willing to apply
• be able to work during and/or after school hours and/or at weekends
• be able to provide two UK-based references (parents of recent tutees/professional colleagues)
• The pay is dependent on qualifications and level of tuition required

Education:

Experience:

• GCSE Maths/English/Science teaching: 1 year (required

• Develop and implement tailored lesson plans for GCSE Maths, English, and Science students.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment to encourage student participation.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic performance and areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on curriculum changes and educational best practices to enhance teaching methods.
