Ignite Your Learning is a multi-award winning tutoring company seeking a passionate Maths Tutor or English Tutor, who can work online or in-Centre, to join our highly personalised tutoring service on a part-time basis of 8-12 hours per week.
Our tutors and educators are our number one priority at Ignite. We are committed to supporting and training all our online tutors and in-centre tutors, so they can provide incredible support to their students, while retaining a great work-life balance. In particular, you will gain invaluable professional experience and skills which our past tutors have leveraged to get exceptional graduate positions after university, in top companies and institutions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Have a passion for Mathematics or English & helping students achieve their goals
  • Completion of Advanced, Extension 1 or Extension 2 Maths or English in NSW (please provide your mark transcript or trial results)
  • Thorough understanding of NSW syllabus requirements
  • Comfortability with working online

Responsibilities
  • Preliminary talks with students prior to their first lesson to understand their learning needs
  • Using internal resources for lesson preparation
  • Teaching students one-on-one either online or in our centre
  • Liaising with management for training and resources
  • Writing reports using our innovative software with AI enhancements to document student progress
