WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS A MATHS TEACHER AT ACTIVATE LEARNING?
We are looking for people who can act as role models for our students and ensure that they leave us with not just their professional qualifications, but the attributes required to progress in the world of work. A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is a requirement.
Successful candidates will have experience in teaching employability skills, Wellness/Attributes, Project Based Learning or Digital Skills, and the enthusiasm to share this sector knowledge with our foundation level students.
Whilst previous teaching experience or qualification would be an advantage, it is not a requirement. As long as you have the industry experience and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.
WHO WE ARE:
We see our employees as individuals, empowering them to make the right choices for their ambitions and careers. We value our people as vital to our continued success and aspire to a diverse, open and inclusive environment that provides the motivation for everyone to pursue their career goals and flourish.
When you work for Activate Learning, you’re working for an organisation that provides you with the advantages of a large employer, a trusted partner in your career development, and a transformational way of working whilst also investing in building a community environment for everyone.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher to deliver foundation level classes through our partnership with SOFEA.
SOFEA is a registered charity who support young people across Didcot and Oxfordshire on education, employability, and wellbeing programmes to help them transform their lives.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive who is committed to enabling learners to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 29.6 hours per week (0.80 FTE) based at SOFEA Trident Park, Didcot. Timetabling is flexible for the right candidate.
