THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our successful department on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or NQT to contribute to our outstanding provision while gaining valuable experience in a high-performing school environment.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in Mathematics or related subject
• Experience teaching mathematics at secondary level (or strong potential for NQTs)
• Excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 mathematics
• Strong classroom management skills
• Commitment to high standards and student achievement
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum and school schemes of work
• Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities
• Work collaboratively within the mathematics department and across the school
• Support students in achieving their full potential in mathematics
