Are you a passionate, resilient Maths teacher with QTS and experience supporting pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour?
We are recruiting on behalf of a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Oswaldtwistle seeking a skilled and empathetic QTS Maths Teacher to start from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term temporary role ideal for someone committed to making a real difference in an alternative provision setting.

Responsibilities

As a Maths Teacher in this specialist setting, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils who are not in mainstream education
  • Differentiate learning to meet a range of academic and behavioural needs
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs and support staff to implement EHCPs and behaviour strategies
  • Build positive, consistent relationships with students who may display complex emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Foster a calm, inclusive learning environment that promotes progress and personal growth
