The Role:

As a Maths Teacher at Teenage Kicks, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring lessons meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Teach a range of mathematical concepts up to GCSE, fostering problem-solving, numeracy skills, and confidence.
  • Differentiate lessons to support students with SEND, EHCPs, or behavioural challenges, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and development.
  • Encourage participation and resilience in Maths through creative and interactive learning methods.
  • Support students’ emotional and social development, working closely with the SENDCo, Learning Mentors, and Pastoral Team.

Who We’re Looking For:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
✔ Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 & 4 (experience in alternative provision is an advantage).
✔ Ability to differentiate lessons and support students with diverse learning needs.
✔ Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
✔ A flexible and adaptable approach, with a focus on student well-being and academic success.
✔ A passion for Maths, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
