Job title: Thrive Maths Teacher
Responsible to: Thrive Project Lead
Hours of work: 8.30am - 4.00pm, Fridays, term time only, 39 weeks per year.
Job purpose: To develop, coordinate and implement maths at Thrive, Alternative Education Provision, at The Mix Stowmarket.
Salary: £3,675 per annum
Contract Term: Temporary role – maternity cover until end of July 2026

The Mix strives every day to see a world where Young People are empowered and enabled to change their personal worlds and the one, we all share. From our head office in Mid Suffolk, we work hard every day to provide, equip, ensure and enable, youth work that works.
Thrive is our Alternative Education Provision here at The Mix. We support students from local secondary schools to engage in learning, develop their skills, build their self-esteem and confidence and be empowered to thrive. Thrive Fridays focus on core curriculum support, whereas Thrive Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays focus more on vocational curriculum.
This exciting role will support the development and delivery of Thrive, our alternative provision at The Mix and enable and empower the young people we work with.
