MAYMONT CENTRAL SCHOOL

Maymont Central School has around 140 students from Pre-K to grade 12 and a staff of 20. They are a collaborative learning community that strives for excellence. Summary of Position
This posting is for a Permanent Full-Time Educational Assistant Position at Maymont Central School, commencing October 1, 2025. Hour of work are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. Educational Assistants support students with intensive needs in five key areas: providing personal care, life skills and experiences, academic assistance, communication, and behavioural support as required by students and directed by teachers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
  • Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
