CNC SET UP/OPERATOR JOB DETAILS

Danville, IN
Shifts:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon–Thurs)
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (Mon–Thurs)
Must be able to work both shifts
Pay: $26+/hour (based on experience)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Possible overtime on Fridays and Saturdays

CNC SET UP/OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS

-3+ years of experience on CNC Lathe machines (MAZAK experience required)
-Strong ability to set up and run CNC MAZAK Lathe machines
-Proficient in reading and using precision measuring tools
-Excellent communication and training skills
-Experience troubleshooting and optimizing CNC operations
-Good math and problem-solving skills
-Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
-Excellent attendance, reliability, and ability to handle physical workload
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

-Set up and run CNC MAZAK Lathe machines to produce precision parts
-Train team members on the safe and efficient operation of CNC Lathe machines
-Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards
-Troubleshoot and resolve machine or production issues
-Work collaboratively with the team to improve plant efficiency and processes
-Maintain a clean and safe working environment
