MBChB Professor of Medical Education
The Chester Medical School (CMS) is an exciting development at the University of Chester, which delivers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in clinical and biomedical sciences.
An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced medical educator to join the senior team at CMS and take a leadership role in the MBChB programme.
The appointee will be involved in quality monitoring and coordinating interprofessional educational activities with other staff to ensure students get the best out of their programme and make a meaningful contribution to the local community and health/care provision.
You will be expected to undertake research/scholarly activities and represent the School externally as required. The successful appointee is expected to contribute to the School’s teaching and administration, and actively promote medical education. You will have relevant experience of programme and educational research leadership, and of teaching and supporting medical students and/or doctors in training and research.
You are welcome to contact Professor Kate Knight k.knight@chester.ac.uk for informal enquiries and/or a visit.
