Key Responsibilities •MBE Designer Qualification BE / B-Tech – Automotive / Mechanical Engineering Experience – 10 to 15 years Work Profile: Mechanical Engineering / BE - Mechanical/Automobile 10 to 15 years’ experience in the field of CAD modelling & detailing using NX10 & above Work experience in Teamcenter- 11 and above Expertise in using PMI environment and creating PMI models & Drawings (MBD) Experience working with cross functional Teams engineering, manufacturing, and quality to gather requirements and develop Model-Based Definition (MBD) solutions for various requirements Experience in PMI and implementing GD&T, datum structures, feature control frames, and manufacturing symbols using Siemens NX PMI, with specialization on casting and sheet metal components. Identify opportunities and take initiatives to replace 2D drawings with digital definitions, increasing design, manufacturing, and inspection efficiency & cost reduction Familiarity/Understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME Y14.5 Experience in Model Based Enterprise across enterprise and lifecycle. Should be able to Provide solutions to Customer for the transformation from Drawing Centric to Model Centric approach Work Experience Desired skills: Problem solving and decision-making skills Leading and mentoring the team Strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
The MBE Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing Model-Based Definition (MBD) solutions. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and replace 2D drawings with digital definitions.
