Role Description / Areas of responsibility: Support MBS trading desk by managing the full lifecycle of trades encompassing non-agency MBS, CLO, TRS and interest rate products. Person will need to partner closely with Sales, Trading, Product Control, Settlements and other desks to resolve trade discrepancies in a timely fashion. Calculate and provide daily P&L and risk to business partners as well as senior management. Use of BBG lookups for factor and static data discrepancies a plus. Willingness to go the extra mile. Understanding of FINRA TRACE reporting and TMPG marginging for MBS products as it relates to securitized products a plus. Analyze and resolve DK’s and fails to minimize risk to firm.
