UGL Defence is a key player in the Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels Network. We are currently seeking an MC Fuel Tanker Driver to work casually with the local, and regional, fuel terminals and defence bases. This a unique and exciting opportunity to work within a team of defence personnel while enjoying the benefits of working with a Tier 1 service provider. Work as one team and perform the delivery of fuel to the RAAF and other Defence stakeholders on base. The Role Reporting through to a UGL Fleet Transition Lead, your duties will include, but not limited to; Operate fuel tanker truck (AB triple or double combinations) around local and regional fuel terminals and the defence bases Maintain company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and safety are adhered to at all times Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to designated sites Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) and perform logbook duties Communicate with internal and external team to ensure good customer experience Support the network operations team and perform duties to maintain the condition of the fleet (truck washing, inspections, etc). Roster Day Shift. Mon-Fri (38 hr week). 7.6 hr working day. Temporary/Casual role Location Based at the RAAF Williams Base - Laverton VIC What you Need You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer. We expect the successful applicants to have the following Current MC Drivers Licence, Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence and Safe Load Pass (SLP) card Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry will be highly regarded Strong work ethic, good communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances What we Offer This is an opportunity to join UGL as a casual employee within the Defence sector.
