Description Memory Care Activity Assistant Grand Villa is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Memory Care Activity Assistant to join our team. Key Responsibilities: - Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, grooming, and personal care as needed - Plan, organize, and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities designed to promote cognitive, emotional, and physical well-being - Monitor residents’ responses to activities and adjust plans accordingly to ensure engagement and safety - Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages social interaction and emotional well-being - Collaborate with the care team to develop individualized activity plans for residents - Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and progress - Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during all activities Skills and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; experience in recreational therapy, activity coordination, or caregiving preferred - Compassionate, patient, and attentive to the needs of older adults with memory impairments - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to plan and implement engaging activities suitable for residents with cognitive challenges - Knowledge of dementia and memory care best practices is a plus - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to adapt to residents’ changing needs and preferences At Grand Villa, we foster a warm, inclusive environment that values growth, teamwork, and the well-being of our residents.
