What You Will Do: Use blueprints, sketches, computer-aided design (CAD) and work instructions to produce precision parts Produce parts that meet required machine output specifications while maintaining high production rates Perform precise measurements for cutting/shaping tasks Assist in the development of other team members. Perform other duties as necessary to support the business needs Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot, and appropriately adjust inputs to correct any issues outside specified tolerances Operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Lathes/MCL (Material Control Lab) machines and/or other turning/cutting equipment. Review and understand blueprints, drawings, and/or written instructions to understand the machine output specifications Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages. Assist in the development of other team members. Perform other duties as necessary to support the business needs Comply with all environmental, health, and safety rules, procedures, and policies This is a 2nd shift position - weekday evenings into the early morning. There is a shift premium associated with the compensation for this shift. Qualifications You Must Have: High School Diploma or equivalent U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Qualifications We Value: 6 months manufacturing experience, technical training, military training experience, or completion of Certified Manufacturing Specialist Program 1 year of CNC machine operator experience that would include, but not limit to retooling, minor maintenance, changeovers, and first article inspection. Responsibilities

The MCL Machining Team Member will use blueprints and CAD to produce precision parts while maintaining high production rates. They will also monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
