Title: MCPP: Communication Maintenance Supervisor – Philippines Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces. The scope of this position is to manage the people, equipment, and resources in the daily maintenance production of Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL) communications equipment. The MCPP-PHIL Communications Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the MCPP-PHIL Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, execute and/or supervise the performance of all maintenance functions for MCPP-PHIL and MCPP-PHIL communications equipment implementing the following: Develop and maintain a competent and complete maintenance program that follows the contract Statement of Work and adheres to Marine Corps policy and procedures. Execute logistics, plans and work schedules. Formulate administrative and operational policies and procedures. Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities. Direct and coordinate maintenance management administration and support systems and technical publication reference library. Correlate maintenance operational requirements with program plans to ensure requisite support is provided in a timely and accurate manner. Identify specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) Develop and/or revises effective equipment maintenance programs and techniques. Recommend capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment to increase efficiency and services. Approve requisitions for equipment, materials and supplies within budgetary guidelines. Ensure compliance with personnel and administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations. Enforce worker compliance with established safety regulations, and method and procedures for handling and storing various equipment parts/components. Prepare technical reports and correspondence, identifies problem areas/deficiencies, and directs clerical personnel in the preparation of reports and record-keeping activities. Plan and manage human resource activities. Maintain MCPP ISO policies and procedures and ensure on-going compliance with such. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Must be able to pass a U.S. Government/FBI background investigation and obtain a Secret Clearance. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position. Completion of related formal training such as Ground Electronics Transmission Systems Maintainer (MOS 2841) or Signal Corps - 25 Series MOS. In lieu of formalized training, a combination of college credits, professional certification, or other education, and directly related work experience may be considered. Must have 6 years of directly related work experience including 2 years in a supervisory capacity involving various aspects of schedule controls, performance monitoring, report writing, program planning and customer interface. Requires the ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements. The ability to analyze equipment and forecast spare part equipment is required. Must have the ability to analyze maintenance repair or operation to determine methods of improvement. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. U.S. Stateside Driver’s License Active Department of Defense secret security clearance. U.S. Passport Must be able to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Visa. Preferred Skills Understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders. Industry Certification Working knowledge of military storage procedures. Working knowledge of general maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies. Strong written and oral communication skills.
