Title: MCPP - Supervisor, Organic Maintenance (Philippines) Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary The Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistic services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) in support of this program. For over 35 years we have planned, coordinated, and executed the maintenance and logistic services for ground combat vehicles and support equipment for USMC Expeditionary Forces. The scope of this position is to supervise and coordinate activities of mechanics who are performing maintenance duties on Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines (MCPP-PHIL) organic equipment. The MCPP-PHIL Organic Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the MCPP-PHIL Maintenance Manager. Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, execute and/or supervise the performance of all maintenance functions for MCPP-PHIL and MCPP-PHIL Organic equipment implementing the following: Develop and maintain a competent and complete maintenance program that follows the contract Statement of Work and adheres to Marine Corps policy and procedures. Supervise and coordinate activities of mechanics engaged in repairing, adjusting, servicing, and storing organic equipment. Oversee equipment readiness, maintenance shop organization, control of maintenance assets and provide advice on all matters relating to organic equipment. Review invoices and requisitions to plan work activities. Ensure mechanics are properly trained in all maintenance functions. Determine sequence and assignment of work on basis of work priority and quantity of equipment to obtain optimal use of equipment, facilities, and personnel. Identify specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program (MCPP) Keep inventory of repair parts and equipment and requisition replacement stock. Review requisitions for equipment, materials, and supplies. Ensure compliance with personnel and administrative policies, procedures, and government regulations. Enforce worker compliance with established safety regulations, and method and procedures for handling and storing various equipment parts/components. Inspect work performed to ensure compliance with specifications and time schedules. Interpret specifications, drawings, work orders, technical instructions, and layouts. Maintain MCPP-PHIL ISO policies and procedures and ensure on-going compliance with such. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: Must be able to pass a U.S. Government/FBI background investigation and obtain a Secret Clearance. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position. Completion of related formal training such as Maintenance Chief or Maintenance Officer course. In lieu of Maintenance Chief/Officers course, a combination of college credits, professional certification, or other education, and directly related work experience may be considered. Must have 6 years of directly related work experience including 2 years in a supervisory capacity involving various aspects of schedule controls, performance monitoring, report writing, program planning and customer interface. Requires the ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements. The ability to analyze equipment and forecast spare part equipment is required. Must have the ability to analyze maintenance repair or operation to determine methods of improvement. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. U.S. Stateside Driver’s License Active Department of Defense secret security clearance. U.S. Passport Must be able to obtain and maintain a Philippines Work Visa. Desired Skills: USMC MOS 1169/3529/2862 Understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders. Industry Certification Automation and Scripting Working knowledge of military supply procedures. Expert knowledge of general maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.
