The position of Mechanical Circulatory Support (MCS) Research Assistant involves the development and support of clinical and translational research projects related to cardiovascular hemodynamics within the Heart Failure and Transplant Unit. The research assistant is required to assist with patient enrolment, collection of hemodynamics data, performance of non-invasive hemodynamics studies (after appropriate training and assessment) to support research activity within the laboratory of the Heart Failure Unit. In addition, they are required to ensure data collection is in compliance with the NHMRC Guidelines and International Conference on Harmonisation - Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP), Australian regulations and privacy laws.
