How you'll make an impact Investment Consulting provides a variety of high-quality services to clients through structured engagements. These services include: Strategic setting of investment objectives, strategic asset allocation, performance measurement and evaluation, investment monitoring and reporting, custodian selection, transition advice, statements of investment policy and global research services. Primarily focused on managing a team of two or more Professionals at minimum, but can include paraprofessional and/or offshore staff groups in support of client engagements. As recognized people leaders in investment consulting, role incumbent(s) are seen as both client project and team leaders. Manages clients’ expectations and deliverables, translating to project teams; Efficiently manages internal project teams and deals with escalated client and project problems; Leads consulting staff in all aspects of service delivery and client management; Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of high-quality client and operational results; Ensures compliance policies, and procedures are understood and followed; Influences business plans and management decisions regarding function strategy; Leads and/or participates in strategic-level consulting projects. Responsible for making improvements in procedures and processes to solve problems and enhance performance of the job area. Problems and issues faced may be difficult and require understanding of a broader set of issues. Exercises management authority, including performance reviews, recruitment recommendations and requirements, execution of discipline, and other personnel actions. Plans and establishes goals and objectives for a team, with direct impact on the immediate or short-term operational results of the team. Provides input to functional strategy, typically does not have budget or P&L accountability, but may manage certain processes or projects within a defined budget set by senior management. About You Required: Bachelor’s degree; 6 years of related experience, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience. 4+ years’ experience in a supervisor or management role required or comparable internal experience. Able and willing to travel up to approximately 25% of the time. Knowledge of key aspects of finance and investment theory and practice and the ability to apply this knowledge to client work. Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution. Knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Desired: MBA or FIA/FFA/CFA certification/accreditation.
