ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Goulburn Valley Centre Against Sexual Assault (GVCASA) is one of 18 Sexual Assault Support Services that operate throughout Victoria. Together we work to ensure that people of all ages and genders who are Victim Survivors of sexual assault have access to comprehensive and timely support, and interventions to address their needs. GVCASA provides a range of services including counselling, group work, advocacy, secondary consultation, training for other professionals and community education. GVCASA’s main office is located in the Shepparton Multidisciplinary Centre (MDC) and provides outreach services throughout the Goulburn (West Hume) Region.
All staff at GVCASA work within a trauma informed care framework and the MDC Client Services Officer role plays a key role as the first point of contact for all clients, internal and external stakeholders and visitors to the Shepparton Multidisciplinary Centre.
The MDC Client Services Officer will report directly to the Manager - Trauma Informed Services and will support the business operations of GVCASA by providing high quality and timely reception services, as well as assisting the Trauma Informed Services administration team at the Shepparton MDC to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Trauma Informed Services (GVCASA) department.
