JOB SUMMARY:
The Member Development Director’s role is to provide business support and expertise to our NMG Member Companies in an assigned territory and pursue the growth of the organization, creating an environment of superior member service & assisting group Member Companies to operate profitably and efficiently. The majority of the focus in this role will be to prospect and bring new, large retailers into the NMG network.
We are looking for a skilled salesperson specializing in closing deals with larger retail customers. This role involves devising and executing strategies to engage and secure high-value retail clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail sales, understands the nuances of retail operations, and can navigate complex sales cycles to achieve revenue targets.
The Member Support Manager has a defined region to manage with approximately 10-15 Members. An MDD is expected to develop strong relationships within territory weekly to consult, support and service Members through in person and digital communication. Primary focus is on the expansion of NMG services within assigned accounts. Developing relationships with regional vendor reps is important as it paves way to both servicing Members and in recruiting efforts.
