Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These are duties that the person holding this job MUST be able to perform. The company makes accommodations on request, if the accommodations are reasonable, to allow otherwise qualified applicants to perform these functions. • Maximize uptimes on all secondary equipment with the objective of reducing and eliminating downtime. • Must ensure all safety features are functioning properly. • Perform characterization on specific product, as identified and developed. • Must respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and manufacturing methods • Maintain a neat and clean environment at all times. • Identify maintenance concerns and issues and work to assist with resolution. • Must assist in training new Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, and production operators when required. • Must perform other duties, as required by the Lead ME. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency; and 3-5 years’ experience in troubleshooting injection molding. TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: • Revere Plastics Systems Orientation • Forklift Training • Injection Molding Class • Lock Out/Tag Out Training • SPC Training • Sexual Harassment • Understanding of Gemba Board Data CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid forklift license. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/TASKS/ABILITIES: • Must have good attendance habits that exceed current policy. • Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuing education. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. • Noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Responsibilities
