Job Summary Seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Primary Responsibilities Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results Resolves software problem reports Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components Required Qualifications Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph Eight (8) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree One (1) year of experience coding in Python Experience with Front-End Web Development Languages: Javascript (and eventually some Typescript) React/JSX Experience with Back-End Development Languages: node.js/Javascript Rust (for high-performance or secure portions) Python shell script Experience with Micro-services architecture: Kubernetes Helm Charts Micro-Services deployment patterns Service-mesh Multi-site applications Load Balancing topologies Cloud Migration Tech-Stack Familiarity Architecture: nifi Testing frameworks (JEST) Grafana InfluxDb Elasticsearch Redis mysql Apache Superset RabbitMQ/Kafka/Message Fabrics Ansible/Salt Terraform (for lane development) Web-Sockets JBLOCKS CASPORT Neo4j Desired Qualifications No desired qualifications listed at this time Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
