Country Background CRS Philippines was established in 1945 and is the longest-running CRS country program in the world.  Currently, CRS Philippines focuses its work on homes and communities, peacebuilding, emergency response, and disaster risk reduction and climate resilience.  The Philippines country program has more than 50 staff with a main office in Manila and sub-offices in Cotabato, Iloilo, and Tagbilaran. CRS programs are implemented through a national network of partners, in close coordination with local, municipal and national government agencies. The Country Program has drawn international recognition for the impact, timeliness, and innovation of its programs and approaches. With the support from Caritas Australia, CRS is implementing a 5-year project titled Climate Action Partnership for Asian Cities (CAPACities) in Tagbilaran City, Bohol Province. The goal of the project is to strengthen the climate governance and adaptive capacity of the cities so they will be more climate resilient.  Job Summary:  You will assist the implementation of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system by working directly with the programming team, local partners and community members in support of Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) work to serve the poor and vulnerable. More specifically, you will support the Climate Action Partnership for Asian Cities (CAPACities) project in Tagbilaran City, Bohol Province.
