JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Coordinator to oversee operations within our establishment. REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of food service management principles, including inventory control and food safety regulations
  • Experience with quick service & fast food restaurants as well as fine dining establishments is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in staff training, development, and supervision
  • Background in culinary arts or kitchen management is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and customers

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily meal program operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards
  • Manage inventory control and assist with food preparation and production, purchasing and coordinate delivery routes
  • Train and develop kitchen and delivery staff in various areas including cooking techniques, customer service, obtaining all kitchen staff certificates
  • Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing
  • Implement training programs for new hires, focusing on food handling, kitchen management, and hospitality practices
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership
  • Assist in budgeting processes and operational planning for the program
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the kitchen
  • Collaborate with management to enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service
