Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people experiencing multiple disadvantage? Gloucestershire has recently been accepted onto the Making Every Adult Matter (MEAM) Network for 2024-2026, and we’re looking for a dedicated MEAM Coordinator to lead this transformative initiative.
This is a 2-year fixed term contract role based in the Safeguarding Adults Team in Shire Hall, Gloucester. We offer flexible working arrangements, and a lot of your time will be spent working with frontline teams away from the office.

Responsibilities

As the MEAM Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering better-coordinated services for individuals facing challenges such as homelessness, substance misuse, and interactions with the criminal justice system. You will model and share best practice, working closely with local agencies to bring about system change across Gloucestershire. Co-producing an innovative approach with people with lived experience is the top priority for this exciting role, which has the potential to transform lives.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Work with partners to establish Gloucestershire’s MEAM pilot programme and the first MEAM cohort
  • Support the implementation of an effective and robust structure of governance and director-level input across services
  • Influence at a strategic level to effect system change
  • Test new ways of working and deliver creative options and better outcomes for people
  • Support frontline practitioners in implementing the MEAM approach and facilitate training to help system partners embed learning
  • Collect, analyse and manage data that contributes to system change and commissioning
  • Capture learning from the lived experience of people facing multiple disadvantage through co-production
