We’re seeking an experienced Measurement Foreman to support our field measurement operations in Artesia, NM. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on leadership and technical oversight across gas and/or liquid measurement activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with industry regulations and SPL standards. This is a key leadership position responsible for supervising technicians, coordinating field schedules, supporting client needs, overseeing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring measurement systems operate with precision and reliability. What You’ll Do Oversee field measurement operations, including daily scheduling, job execution, and technician support Supervise and coach Measurement Technicians and Team Leads, ensuring work quality and safety compliance Coordinate installations, inspections, preventative maintenance, calibrations, and project-driven measurement work Review and approve job tickets, field documentation, calibration reports, chain of custody documentation, and timecards Provide advanced troubleshooting support and technical guidance for measurement-related issues Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements (AGA, GPA, API, and other applicable standards) Serve as a primary field point-of-contact for customers, communicating project updates, scheduling needs, and operational issues Maintain measurement equipment integrity and ensure proper tool and equipment readiness Support business needs by assisting with field work as required, including emergency response or escalation support Perform other duties as assigned Requirements What You’ll Bring High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of two (2) years of experience in gas and/or liquid measurement Proven supervisory, lead, or crew management experience Strong technical knowledge of measurement systems, instrumentation, electronics, and process control Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record What You’ll Need to Succeed Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate field teams while maintaining accountability Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate schedules, and maintain operational efficiency in a fast-paced field environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, compliance, and data integrity Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex measurement issues under changing field conditions Strong understanding of custody transfer, calibration verification, and measurement validation practices Clear communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with technicians, clients, and internal leadership Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to adapt quickly and maintain performance expectations What We Offer Competitive compensation Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Employer-paid life, AD&D, and disability insurance Paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays Paid parental leave Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition reimbursement and professional development support Work Environment, Schedule, & Travel Full-time, field-based position Ability to work flexible or extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require Daily local travel required; periodic overnight travel may be required depending on client and operational needs Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and industrial environments Our Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion At SPL, we believe that a diverse team is a strong team.
