What You’ll Do: Sample Collection & Testing: Collect and test gas and liquid samples to ensure quality and accuracy. Equipment Installation & Calibration: Install, commission, program, and calibrate electronic flow computers for optimal performance. Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on measurement systems, including changing orifice plates and transmitters. System Installation & Troubleshooting: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot measurement systems and equipment to maintain operational efficiency. Meter Run Construction: Construct meter runs for precise and reliable measurements. Separator Servicing: Service three-phase portable separators to ensure correct functioning. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using various oilfield measurement equipment and computer software. Organization & Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
The Measurement Technician will collect and test gas and liquid samples, install and calibrate electronic flow computers, and perform routine maintenance on measurement systems. Additionally, they will troubleshoot and service measurement systems to ensure operational efficiency.
