Description Looking for a confident, self-motivated candidate to manage a meat department for Super One Foods. To be successful in this position previous food handling experience is required. The desire and ability to lead others to provide consistent and quality products. Strong customer service and communication skills are a must. Basic duties include but are not limited to; Develop effective daily/weekly work plan based on weekly sales projections, budgeted labor goals, and previous operating results Plan and execute, aggressive and creative merchandising plans to maximize sales, variety, and gross profit Ensure accurate pricing and signage within the department Supervise meat department associates to ensure production objectives are met Manage department receiving, invoicing, pricing, shrink control, and inventory to ensure proper product control and that gross profit goal are met Train and develop department personnel Supervise department safety and sanitation programs Perform department personnel functions Follow all store and department policies and procedures Performs other duties as assigned or delegated Requirements Job Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts for this position vary but, you will be working 40-45 hours weekly. Must be 18 years of age. Responsibilities
The Meat Department Manager is responsible for managing the meat department, ensuring production objectives are met, and leading the team to provide quality products. This includes developing work plans, executing merchandising strategies, and overseeing safety and sanitation programs.
