This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that’s constantly evolving. Main responsibilities: Oversee daily operations and staffing of the Meat Department. Supervise, schedule, and train meat cutters and clerks. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies. Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and culling products. Operate meat processing equipment (grinders, saws, tenderizers, knives). Maintain accurate records and perform monthly inventory checks. Implement merchandising programs and ensure pricing integrity. Provide high-quality customer service, including special orders and custom cuts. Monitor and analyze department reports to identify opportunities. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the department.
