JOB OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Meat Packaging Workers in a federally inspected meat processing facility. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a cool, refrigerated environment, following strict hygiene and safety protocols to package meat products for distribution.

GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMP) REQUIREMENTS:

  • Personal Hygiene
  • Wear clean uniforms, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), and gloves at all times.
  • No jewelry, nail polish, or artificial nails allowed in production areas.
  • Wash and sanitize hands thoroughly before entering and after breaks.
  • Protective Equipment:
  • Must wear all provided PPE, including safety boots, gloves, and hearing protection where applicable.
  • Sanitation:
  • Follow all sanitation procedures before, during, and after shifts.
  • Avoid cross-contamination by strictly adhering to cleanliness protocols.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated/cool environment throughout the shift.
  • Must be punctual, dependable, and team-oriented.
  • Previous experience in meat processing or food packaging is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Package raw and processed meat ( beef, poultry, pork, mixed) products according to company specifications.
  • Weigh, label, and box products accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Inspect products for quality and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to daily production targets and timelines.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and HACCP protocols.
  • Work in a cool environment (temperature maintained between 0°C to 4°C) for the duration of the shift.
