JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a meat processing position, not a chef or butcher position
We are looking for full-time long-term employees that will grow with the business
We make products like deli meats, sausages, burgers etc.

Responsibilities- included but not limited to

  • producing and packaging meat products such as deli meats sausages, burgers
  • Clean equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards as per Ministry of health
  • Receive, inspect, and store meat upon deliver
  • Bone, grind and cut pieces of meat
  • TASTING product to ensure quality

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in the meat processing field
  • Knowledge of producing Sausages, burgers and other meat products
  • Food handling certificate
  • Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends as required,
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and accuracy to deal with a variety of duties.
  • Able to follow instructions

    Butchers Assistants will be required to execute deli case items and recipes as set forth by the operator. You are responsible for operating the mechanics of your station in accordance with the standards and expectations of the company. You will also be held accountable for BOH cleanliness and organization.

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • Meat preparation: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:
