Day-to-Day Duties Ensuring meat and seafood products are fresh and attractively merchandised, by effectively cleaning, inspecting, packaging, labeling, and displaying produce. Packaging fresh meat & seafood according to customers’ needs within safety guidelines and departmental procedures. Serving customers at the Meat and Seafood counter, exhibiting sensitivity to customers’ needs. Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security. May be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Six months of meat or seafood experience OR one year of customer service experience required OR a demonstrated willingness to learn. High School diploma or GED preferred. Knowledge of natural and conventional foods and the food industry helpful.
