Your Role Are you detailed oriented, a hard worker, and love to interact with people? Do you have, or would like to learn wrapping freshly cut meats, pricing products, merchandising skills, and product presentation to grow sales? If that's your believe too, you could be a great fit for Rosauers Supermarkets! What You'll Do: Welcome and greet customers, answer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations. Answers questions regarding types, cuts, and suggested preparation of meats. Wrap, label and package meats in order to keep them fresh and prevent spoilage. Ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive. Weigh, package, label, price, and display products. Perform quality inspections on meats and other products. Adhere to food safety and sanitation controls. Clean and maintain tools and equipment. Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction. Using machines such as grinders or slicers to cut meat into smaller pieces Packaging meat cuts or poultry in boxes or plastic bags for sale Inspecting products for damage or defects before wrapping them in plastic wrap or butcher paper Wrapping meats in plastic wrap or butcher paper in order to keep them fresh and prevent spoilage Cleaning work areas and equipment after each use Storing items in refrigerators or freezers until they are ready to be sold Slitting plastic bags along seams with a knife or blade in order to make them easier to open Wrapping meat in plastic or paper for storage or shipping to other locations Slicing meat into thin strips using a band saw or other cutting device Perform other duties as assigned Benefits & Perks: Amazing earning potential, you'll be paid weekly.
