Job environment Job title of the line manager: Station Manager or Workshop Manager Job title of the functional manager (if any): Responsibilities: The Station Aircraft Mechanic carries out maintenance work on aircraft and equipment: diagnostics, repairs and the completion certification required for the system to be returned to service. To maintain and repair aircraft and equipment in accordance with the rules of the company, which are based on PART/FAR/FRA 145 regulations. To comply with - and ensure that others comply - with all these rules on a daily basis. To achieve the targets set by the workshop manager and report any non-conformities encountered in doing so. Scope of Activities To carry out some or all of the following activities: Based on the type of maintenance and details contained in the technical files and logbook, identify the repair phases Remove equipment Carry out functional checks on equipment and systems, and check for structural completeness Identify defective components and parts Assemble components into units Refit equipment, make adjustments and conduct functional checks Ensure that all operations comply with the company MOE (Organization and Maintenance Manual) Complete the tracking documents. Keep your workstation clean and tidy. The activities are to be adapted for employees on work/study contracts (vocational training apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to remain consistent with their theory training.
