QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Diplôme ou certification en mécanique industrielle, outillage ou domaine connexe.
  • Minimum de 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en réparation de moules et entretien d’équipements industriels.
  • Maîtrise de l’usinage de précision, de la soudure et du dépannage mécanique.
  • Bonne compréhension de la conception des moules, des matériaux, des tolérances et des systèmes d’équipements lourds.
  • Capacité à lire et interpréter des dessins techniques, plans et manuels d’équipement.
  • Expérience avec les équipements lourds et les machines-outils manuelles (un atout).
  • Excellente attention aux détails et compétences en résolution de problèmes.
  • Bonnes aptitudes en communication et en travail d’équipe.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Mechanic to join our team, specializing in the repair and maintenance of high-precision, high-density molds and heavy-duty manufacturing equipment used in the production of concrete pavers. This role offers paid training, a short probation period, and the opportunity to learn directly from senior, experienced mechanics who are eager to share their knowledge and expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or certification in Industrial Mechanics, Tool & Die, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mold repair and industrial equipment maintenance.
  • Proficiency in precision machining, welding, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of mold design, materials, tolerances, and heavy-duty equipment systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Experience with heavy industrial equipment and manual machining tools is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on high-density molds.
  • Conduct precision machining, grinding, and fitting to restore mold components to exact specifications.
  • Execute welding tasks (TIG/MIG) as needed for mold repair, ensuring structural integrity and dimensional accuracy.
  • Inspect molds for wear, damage, or defects using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, modifications, and maintenance schedules.
