We are searching for an exceptional Flagship Assistant Manager at our new MECCA Bourke St store! As the Flagship Assistant Manager, you’ll support our Flagship Manager in operating MECCA’s largest store to date. Your ability to drive results through your exceptional team will be key to your success as Assistant Flagship Manager. Day-to-day responsibilities: As a Flagship Assistant Manager, you will work on a full-time basis. This will include shifts across late night and weekend peak trade, working alternate weekends on a 9day fortnight rotation. Work with the Flagship Manager to review customer experience data, identify successes and areas for improvement, and implement effective changes through feedback and coaching to drive continuous improvement. Uphold MECCA Magic standards by consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences, regularly observing interactions, and confidently coaching team members on MECCA’s customer service standards. Work closely with the Flagship Manager to build a high-performing team, providing leadership and development to Trading & Assistant Trading Managers while fostering a positive workplace culture in line with MECCA’s values and utilizing MECCA Pulse feedback to support continuous improvement in team member experience. Contribute to overall store performance by identifying actions to improve key performance indicators and drive initiatives to enhance store operations and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the Flagship Operations Manager to deliver operational excellence in store across stock maintenance, visual merchandising, loss prevention, safety and hygiene. What you’ll bring to the role: Extensive retail management experience, leading a retail concept with 60+ team members for a minimum of 2 years Previous experience managing wage costs and budgeting, in line with business needs Strong commercial skills, with the ability to autonomously make decisions in line with your strategic objectives A pursuit of operational effectiveness with demonstrated back of house experience (highly desired) A genuine care about people, always seeing through the eyes of the customer and team to ensure the best experience An ability to think big and long-term, and drive change through influencing others Strong stakeholder management skills internally and externally Strong coaching communication style with an ability to lead with empathy in care whilst driving performance Organizational skills and a proven track record in operating in and agile and dynamic environment Previous cross-functional or support centre project exposure (highly desired) Life as a Flagship Assistant Manager at MECCA: World-class education opportunities; leadership conferences, training sessions, an online Learning Lab, access to amazing guest speakers including brand founders and business leaders, and once in a lifetime events Opportunities to earn more with our monthly performance bonus program Generous discount to spoil yourselves and your immediate family, as well as a generous product allowance, subject to company policy. Responsibilities
As a Flagship Assistant Manager, you will support the Flagship Manager in operating MECCA’s largest store, focusing on customer experience and team performance. You will also contribute to store operations and collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement.
