WHO WE ARE

Golden Queen Mining Co., LLC (the “Company”) operates a gold and silver, open pit, heap leach operation on its Soledad Mountain property, located just outside the town of Mojave in Kern County in southern California. The Project uses conventional open pit mining methods and the cyanide heap leach and Merrill-Crowe processes to recover gold and silver from crushed, agglomerated ore.

• The Mechanic Level 6 will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance on all applicable equipment.
• Perform minor and major maintenance repairs to equipment as needed.
• Perform major component change outs and rebuilds.
• Welding and fabrication as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose heavy equipment failures and issues.
• Perform lead duties.
• Assist Mobile Maintenance Supervisor and crew members in coordinating work and providing updates on work progress.
• Mentor other maintenance technicians.
• Maintain records of repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Work with expeditors to ensure parts ordered accurately and timely.
• Maintain positive communication with maintenance and operations departments.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times.
• Adhere to all safety and standard operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
