Mechanic Apprentice / Dryer Scraper Unitex is currently seeking a skilled Mechanic Apprentice to join our team in Newburgh, NY. This position is great for someone with mechanical abilities and has tremendous growth potential. Compensation: $18.00 /hour. The salary range for this position is $18.00/hour to $18.00/hour. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors. Schedule: Monday-Saturday 1:30PM -10:00PM, days off being Sunday and Monday. To be discussed during screening prior to interview, based on seniority per Union Contract. Requirements: * Strong desire to learn industrial laundry maintenance and grow within the company. * Punctual and reliable a must * High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred. * Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in an industrial manufacturing environment. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and other departments.
