SUMMARY:

We are looking to expand our shop and add a mechanic to the team here at Urban Life Solutions. If you are an experienced 310S or 310T apprentice, we are looking for you. We are a busy fast paced shop that works on a large variety of heavy-duty equipment. Our team is looking for a mechanically minded individual to ensure our fleet is running safely and smoothly. This role is perfect for people who are passionate about automotive excellence and are dedicated to showcasing and developing their technical skills with our experienced team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a registered 310S or 310T apprentice
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with preventative maintenance on trucks
  • Must have clean and valid driver’s license
  • AZ/DZ would be an asset, but not required
  • Must have own tools and safety boots
  • Must be willing to work indoors/outdoors
  • Welding experience is an asset

Responsibilities
  • Inspect, diagnose, repair fleet equipment and perform preventative maintenance
  • Perform diagnostic tests for routine maintenance procedures and determine a course of action for damaged part and systems
  • Follow all safety policy and procedures as required
  • Respond to road service calls when required
  • Complete all necessary paperwork as required for repairs and inspections completed
