To achieve Apprenticeship Standard- Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) Attend all of the training sessions for the programme as necessary Undertake any other required development work To maintain a professional and effective working relationship with colleagues, operational staff and customers. To apply competencies learned at college back in the workplace under appropriate supervision To comply with safe working practices. To receive visitors to the department in a professional, friendly manner while actively maintaining the security of the area. To communicate effectively in a clear concise and professional manner.
To act as an ambassador for the department and promote services. To undertake statutory training as required in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations. In conjunction with other colleagues, ensure that security in the work environment is maintained, by locking doors and windows; challenging unknown persons who enter the working area and by wearing the Trust’s identity badge at all times whilst at work. Any other duties as deemed appropriate by senior staff.
