JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive and heavy equipment repair, with a background in diagnostics and maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all equipment and vehicles are operating at peak performance.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience as a mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge and vehicle maintenance practices.
  • Proficient in automotive repair including brake repairs, shocks & struts, tire service, and diesel engine repair.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
  • Strong fabrication skills for custom repairs or modifications as required.
  • Capable of performing heavy lifting as necessary during repairs or maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles and heavy equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify problems accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems and more.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle or piece of equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair status.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks in the shop or field environment.
