What You Will Do and How You Will Contribute: Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of small engines and outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, generators, snow blowers, and similar equipment Perform routine maintenance services and tune-ups to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and determine appropriate repair solutions Sharpen mower blades, chainsaw chains, and other cutting components as needed Order and manage parts required for repairs, ensuring accuracy and cost awareness Maintain accurate and timely service records for all repairs and maintenance performed Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding diagnoses, repair recommendations, timelines, and costs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety standards Support the sales floor and assist with store operations during downtime, as needed Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines while performing repair and service work Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support store operations and customer needs What You Will Bring to Our Team: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous experience repairing small engines or outdoor power equipment (required) Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Basic electrical knowledge related to small engine systems Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with store team members Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues in a customer-friendly manner Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple repair jobs Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed Dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining a high standard of work What’s It Like To Work for Nation’s Best?
